Prof. Asish K. Bhattacharyya is a distinguished expert in Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Management Accounting, and Corporate Financial Reporting. He delivers executive education programs and consulting services in these specialised domains.
In his illustrious career, Prof. Bhattacharyya held leadership positions for 20 years in large corporations and dedicated 33 years to academia. His final industry role was as Financial Controller of the Transformer Division at GEC Alstom Limited (India).
In academia, he has served as a Professor at renowned institutions, including IIM Calcutta, SPJIMR Mumbai, and IICA (Manesar, Gurugram). He has also held senior leadership positions as Technical Director at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Director at IMI Kolkata, and Director at IMT Ghaziabad.
A pioneer in his field, Prof. Bhattacharyya founded the Centre of Corporate Governance at IIM Calcutta and led it for seven years.
